Department of Civil Engineering, ATMECE in association with Builders Association of India in collaboration with CAAD Station, Mysore organized a one day workshop on Total station & its application on 19th February 2015 at ATME college of Engineering.

Dr. L Basavaraj, Principal, Mr. Srikanth M R, Asst. Professor & HOD Civil Department,
Mr. Shaik Kabeer Ahmed, Asst. Professor & Shilpi co-ordinator, ATME college of Engineering witnessed the inception of the workshop.
Mr. Srikanth M R, HOD Civil Department extended a warm and genial welcome to all gathered for the workshop, he also mentioned the use of Total station in today’s fast paced construction industry & suggested students to gain the technical skills given by the experts from CADD station , followed by this Mrs. Nirmala Shekar Shilpi Co-ordinator, BAI Mysore addressed the gathering and gave the information related to BAI,
its functioning, and Advantages students can have being a member under Shilpi, also in her address madam mentioned the usage of newer technologies in surveying.
Our beloved principal Dr. L Basavaraj in his presidential address gave a call to the students to make use of the opportunities provided by BAI to its fullest extent in continuation Principal Sir asked students to make use of the workshop and gain technical skillsets related to Total Station and its application.
